A little more about our Hosts:
Misty Grotto is a ethnomusicologist who specializes in string and percussive instruments from around the world. He has taken the cultural and social aspects of his knowledge to emphasize a deeper meaning of music and it’s energy. Through theoretical and methodical approaches that include cognitive, biological and other contexts of musical behavior. He has been facilitating and performing for over 15 years on instruments that include: Sitar, Harp, Darbuka, Flute, Guitars, Drums, etc.. As a musical educator and a private lesson music teacher he has mentored people with understanding music through growth. That the power of musical sound and it’s energy is within all of us.
Michelle Rassner Cash is an International Yoga Instructor, Aerialist, Certified Yoga Nidra Instructor, Meditation Leader and Master Sound Technician rooted in her native land of beautiful South Florida. She has studied a multitude of Yoga Linages and modalities of Meditation over the past twenty years. She has found profound healing through Mindfulness practices and Sound Therapy. Michelle delicately interweaves the vibrations of the Symphonic Gong, Quartz Crystal Bowls, Authentic Himalayan Bowls, Tuning Forks, Native Flutes, Shruti box and more to create an atmosphere of transformation and relaxation. Michelle has joyfully devoted her life to support all throughout their journey to reveal and nurture the peace and happiness that lives in everyone’s heart.
